Hamilton!

Hello everyone!!

We have had a great week! As mentioned last week, I didn't really know what would happen with the upcoming transfer... but now I do! I have been transferred about as far from Sheridan, Wyoming as it gets! I'm now in Hamilton, Montana and I love it here. I'm in a trio with Sisters Hunter and Bennett, and we are loving our new area and loving each other!

1. Sister Hunter and Sister Bennett! They're both amazing. Sister Hunter has bene out for 9 months, and Sister Bennett has been out for 5 days! I honestly feel so old! Mission wise at least haha. We're in a trio for the next little while until I go back to Temple Square in November. They are both such sweet Sisters and I'm excited to learn from them. They're both really high energy, so I'm grateful for that because it keeps me high energy too! We are adjusting to life in a trio and we're also adjusting to our new area - there were Elders here before, so none of us know anything about what's going on here or who anyone is, but our ward mission leader and Bishop are amazing and we really love them. They definitely take care of their Sisters!

2. Treva was baptized!!! We had Treva's baptism back in Sheridan on Monday! It was such a special event, the Spirit was very present and when she shared her testimony with everyone there, it just struck me how much she had truly sacrificed to be able to join the church she believed to be true. I'm really grateful for her example to me and I love her a lot.

3. We've been kept pretty busy here the last couple days with integrating into the community and getting to know people - we volunteered at a 5K event called the Colors of Cancer. We were at the turn around point so we were just jumping up and down and yelling and cheering people on as they came to where we were and then turned around to go back the other way and finish the race. It was really fun to be a part of, and we got to meet a lot of people here in the Hamilton area. We also went to a football game that one of the people we're teaching plays in! We're teaching quite a few youth, and it's super funny to us because one of them is talking about getting ready to go on a mission, and he's not even a member of the church yet!

Basically we're all really excited to be here in this area. We are in a gorgeous part of Montana, and what makes it better is that the people here are truly amazing and love missionary work. The ward here is great and I'm really grateful to be serving in it.

I love you all! I hope you have a great week!
